Are you a hands-on technology leader who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges while developing high-performing teams? We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead day-to-day technology operations, support critical business systems, and drive strategic IT initiatives across our organization.

In this role, you will combine technical expertise, leadership, and business partnership to support a dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in helping managing our IT infrastructure, improving system reliability, and helping shape the future of technology solutions that enable business growth.

What You'll Do

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Administer and optimize server hardware and software environments.

  • Manage virtualization platforms, storage systems, and enterprise networking technologies.

  • Support WAN, LAN, wireless networking, telephony, conferencing tools, and print services.

  • Maintain and enhance Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Ensure the security, availability, performance, and reliability of critical IT systems.

  • Support data protection, backup, and information security initiatives.

Technology Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a small team of System Administrators.

  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and expertise to support team development.

  • Coordinate and execute strategic IT projects from planning through implementation.

  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the IT organization.

  • Participate in cross-training initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.

User & Business Support

  • Provide advanced technical support and helpdesk assistance to employees.

  • Resolve recurring technical issues through proactive analysis and root cause identification.

  • Participate in ticket management and on-call support rotations.

  • Coordinate hardware and software upgrades with an emphasis on planning and minimal business disruption.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of technology assets and systems.

Enterprise Applications & Data Systems

  • Support business-critical enterprise software systems and integrations.

  • Develop an understanding of business processes and ERP workflows.

  • Assist with business reporting and system data integration.

  • Support routine business system administration and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation within the company knowledge base.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing or leading technical teams.

  • Strong experience administering enterprise IT infrastructure and systems.

  • Proficiency with:

  • Microsoft Windows Server

  • Active Directory and Group Policy

  • Microsoft 365 Administration

  • PowerShell scripting

  • Virtualization technologies

  • SQL databases

  • Networking technologies

  • Unix/Linux environments

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years IT system admin experience working within a plant/manufacturing environment.

  • Experience managing enterprise technology projects.

  • Knowledge of business systems, ERP workflows, and data integrations.

  • Experience with system security and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
