What you’ll be doing:
-
Lead High-Priority (Tier 1) Projects: Drive high-priority, multi-departmental, and/or complex projects from discovery through project closure in accordance with organizational standards.

Drive Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate engagement with executives, sponsors, and cross-functional stakeholders to define objectives and drive decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and Maintain Project Documentation: Create and manage project plans, communication strategies, and required artifacts in adherence to organizational standards.

Lead Change Management: Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes.

Manage Risks and Dependencies: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex risks and interdependencies across projects and programs.
-
Mentor Project Managers: Guide and coach project managers and matrixed team members, fostering professional growth and enhancing organizational project management capabilities.

Strategic Resource Management: In collaboration with the Project Portfolio Manager, strategically coordinate project resources across departments to ensure resource availability and alignment with timelines and priorities.

Oversee Vendor Relationships: Lead vendor due diligence and monitor vendor performance during project.

Deliver Comprehensive Reporting: Provide executive-level status updates, portfolio/program metrics, and performance insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Foster Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-implementation reviews and lead initiatives to implement lessons learned to improve the execution of projects across the organization.

Strategic Program Collaboration: Partner with strategic program leadership to execute strategic program objectives and contribute to strategic program planning initiatives.

Provide quality service to members, potential members, and coworkers.

Demonstrate teamwork and professionalism in all interactions with coworkers.

Promote a professional image of the credit union at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned.
You’ll need:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
-
6+ years’ experience managing complex projects or equivalent experience.
-
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred
-
Advanced project management skills with proven ability to manage cross-project dependencies.
-
Advanced facilitation skills
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to network with internal and external stakeholders, and leverage relationships to resolve complex project issues.
-
Ability to analyze project management data and use it to prepare updates for stakeholders.
-
Experience with project management applications (MS Project, Miro, Wrike, etc.).
-
Experience using Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
