The role:

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be the linchpin of our marketing efforts. You will play a vital role in planning, executing, and optimizing our marketing campaigns. Your ability to juggle multiple projects and your keen eye for detail will ensure our marketing initiatives run smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times. Develop, implement, and manage on-site guest promotions, including giveaways, entertainment, and special incentives.

  • Assist with overseeing special events, including tournaments, guest birthday celebrations, and holiday events. Work effectively with other involved departments regarding all promotions and events to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and positive experiences for all guests.

  • Provide internal communication regarding all promotions and events.

  • Assist with developing and managing the departmental budget, including capital expenditures.

  • Review all departmental activity with Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing Operations. Timely communicate all marketing and promotions issues.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member information.

  • Prepare and deliver reports as needed.

  • Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.

  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.

  • Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.

  • Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s KC Casino and department management. Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a marketing-related field, at least 2 years of experience in a marketing, special events, or promotions field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Gaming industry experience is strongly preferred.

  • Must obtain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license.

  • Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, fax machine, and copy machine.

  • Must be able to work any necessary hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Read, write, and understand complex instructions and reports.

  • Communicate appropriately with all casino guests, casino departments, and fellow team members.

  • Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.

  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
