Responsibilities

The Point of Care Testing Specialist is responsible for and provides oversight for all point of care testing and waived testing performed by Northside personnel outside of the Laboratory Departments.

Qualifications

  • Have state recognized certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW).

  • Have at least one year of clinical laboratory experience.

  • All applicants must submit to and pass a Color-Acuity screening Test.

  • Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.

Work Hours: 7a-3:30p Weekend Requirements: No
