Machine Operator (Press Assistant)

Looking for a long-term manufacturing career with growth potential? York Wallcoverings is hiring Press Helpers to support printing operations and learn the skills needed to advance into higher-level press roles.

Responsibilities:

• Operate re-winding and printing support equipment

• Monitor product quality and identify defects

• Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks

• Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and cleanups

• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, and related equipment

• Follow written and verbal work instructions

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred

• Mechanical aptitude

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• High School Diploma or GED

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
