Full job description
JOB SUMMARY:
Drafts, reviews, analyzes, negotiates and processes contracts and related documents. Works closely with business partners and project teams to translate operational requirements into accurate, complete, and contract-ready scopes of work and related business terms in accordance with UDX contract policies, procedures and applicable Universal Orlando Systems. Work in conjunction with Sourcing, Risk Management, Finance, EHS, and other stakeholder departments.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares and/or reviews master agreements, scopes of work, amendments, change orders, NDAs, and related contract documents in accordance with UDX policies and procedures.

Works with business partners to obtain accurate and comprehensive vendor proposals. Assists project team with bidder review and selection of successful bidder. Prepares appropriate contract form, including all addenda items, and assists with negotiation of Terms & Conditions in a form consistent with partnership policies and procedures.

Attends project (construction, etc.) and/or status meetings as required. Assists with preparation and issuance of contract change orders or amendments based on directive settlements or mutual agreement. Maintains contract files, document control, and retention of files. Tracks contract expiration dates and contract options.

Assists with claims administration and contract compliance matters. Ensures compliance of contractual obligations and that partnership policies and procedures/internal controls are followed in all transactions related to this role.

Assists with pre-qualification of bidders and securing confidentiality agreements. Drafts scopes of work for requests for proposals (RFPs) and reviews bid packages before issuance. Prepares and reviews addenda and supports Sourcing, which handles RFP issuance and administration.

Verifies insurance coverage, Vendor qualification, and prepares Notice of Commencements. Prepares Letters of Authorization or Notice to Proceeds (if required). Coordinates with successful bidder for execution of final contract.

Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.

Excellent contract writing skills required.

Experience using contract templates, preparing redlines, and translating business requirements into clear contract terms desired.

Strong attention to detail in identifying ambiguities and inconsistencies desired.

Technical/ride/show/operations support experience highly desired.
-
Experience with Smartsheet and SharePoint desired.

Construction-related or other technical contract experience highly desired.
-

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years contract experience in drafting, analyzing, amending and facilitating contract execution required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
