Full job description
St. Luke's Health System currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Innovative Call Endoscopy Technician to join our Meridian/Nampa Endoscopy Innovative Call (IC) Team.
The IC Endoscopy Tech will be covering both Meridian and Nampa Endoscopy Campuses and will be working opposite another IC Endoscopy Tech, in a two-week Rotation:

Endo tech #1 will be "On Call" for the first week (7 days): On-call shifts are 1700-0700 (14 hours) Monday through Friday. Saturday from 0700 until Monday morning at 0700 for a total of 48 hours on the weekend.

IC Techs rotate their schedules each year, so you don’t cover the same holidays, two years in a row.
What You Can Expect: The Innovative Call Endoscopy Technician is responsible for identifying and securing instrumentation and equipment needed for endoscopy procedures as well as assisting with that procedure.

Assesses and anticipates the needs for a specific case to include (but not limited to) setting up carts prior to procedure, opening procedure room, maintaining integrity of supplies and equipment.

Responsible for the preparation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment and supplies.

Assists in performing invasive endoscopic procedures.

Performs care and maintenance of Automated Endoscope Re-processors and GI Endoscopes, including high-level disinfection. Keep service and repair logs.

Inventory and order Endoscopy equipment and other medical supplies.

Performs inventory and re-stock supplies used in the endoscope reprocessing and procedure rooms.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: 6 months relevant experience

Licenses/Certifications: GI Technical Specialist (GTS) through the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
