Job Description

We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs & Product Stewardship Manager to build and lead our global regulatory compliance and product stewardship program. This individual will serve as the company's subject matter expert on chemical regulations, product safety, hazard communication, and customer compliance support while partnering across the business to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and support growth. Day-to-Day Manage product regulatory compliance for North American and global markets. Monitor changing regulations and assess business impact. Oversee SDSs, product labels, regulatory documentation, and compliance systems. Partner with R&D, Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams on new products and supplier compliance. Respond to customer regulatory inquiries, certifications, and compliance requests. Lead product stewardship initiatives, risk assessments, and sustainability efforts. Develop regulatory processes, training, audits, and reporting for leadership.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, Chemical Compliance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations such as TSCA, REACH, GHS/CLP, OSHA Hazard Communication, VOC requirements, and global chemical inventory compliance.
  • Experience creating or improving regulatory compliance programs and processes.
  • Experience managing SDSs, product labeling, and hazard communication programs.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Master's degree in a scientific field.
  • Professional certifications (RAC, Certified
  • Product Steward, REACH Specialist, etc.).
  • Experience in adhesives, sealants, coatings, polymers, or specialty chemicals.
  • Global regulatory compliance experience.
  • Familiarity with automotive compliance programs (IMDS, GADSL).
  • Experience supporting construction-related compliance requirements (VOC, LEED).
  • Experience implementing SDS authoring software, regulatory databases, or compliance management systems.
  • Leadership experience managing regulatory or technical teams.
