Overview

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Department: Corporate Finance

Reporting To: Accounting Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote

The anticipated salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $75,000.00/Yr. - $80,000.00/Yr.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.

  • Provide support in the areas of fixed assets, lease accounting, and general accurals.

  • Prepare monthly close journal entries.

  • Complete monthly close journal entries.

  • Complete monthly reconciliations balance sheet accounts.

  • Work with external auditors, provide support documentations and explanations.

  • Compile, adjust and evaluate various accurals to ensure their accuracy.

  • Research and correct account discrepancies and variances.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with business partners.

  • Properly execute controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.

Qualifications

More About You:

Required & Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) - General Ledger is preferred.

  • Experience with Tagetik - Consolidation of financial reporting is preferred.

  • Experience with NetSuite.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Understanding and knowledge of US GAAP.

  • 3 or more years of accounting or finance.

  • Experience interfacing with internal/external customers.

  • Experience in the financial reporting close process.

  • Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and computer skills (Microsoft Excel is a must).

  • Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relations.

  • Self-starter and strong work ethic.

  • Key sklls/attributes: organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and accountabilty.
