  • Serve as the primary escalation point for significant operational, safety, quality, staffing, and compliance concerns.

  • Support overnight operations by helping teams navigate critical issues, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely resolution of challenges.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Environmental Health & Safety to address operational barriers and support business objectives.

  • Lead or support investigations, corrective actions, process changes, and operational improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure issues are properly documented, addressed, and communicated to leadership when necessary.

  • Coach and develop Shift Supervisors by providing guidance, feedback, and support to help build a high-performing team.

  • Track key performance indicators and help identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve operational performance.

  • Support recovery efforts during unexpected operational events and help ensure business continuity.

  • Implement approved continuous improvement initiatives and monitor results to drive efficiency, productivity, and operational excellence.

  • Communicate operational performance, resource needs, and critical updates to leadership.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support site operations and business goals.

Qualifications and need-to-know

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
