Full job description
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Review and interpret drawings Understand company codes and specifications on order tickets Accurately read and use tape measure Accurately use digital or manual calipers Accurately measure materials Comfortable working with manual and power tools Safely operate fabrication tools and equipment Repetitive use of hands splicing wire rope and fabricating chain slings Operate swaging machine Operate cutting machinery Calculate cut lengths of material with proficient math skills Identify hardware and fittings to install on wire rope or chain Attach proper tags to finished product Inspect finished product for quality and accuracy Coil wire rope for packaging Re-reel wire rope using industry specific equipment reeling machinery Attention to detail and ability to read and understand written instructions Maintain equipment and a clean, organized work area Work closely with other production team members with a positive attitude Lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs. of product Stand for extended periods; walking, bending and standing during shift Physical stamina and ability to work with hands for extended periods Display a professional and courteous attitude Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as needed ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: This full time, physically active role requires a hard working, dependable, patient individual willing to learn a new skill. Experience in manufacturing and fabrication is required. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs. Fork lift certified or willingness to get certified. Proficient at math and reading. Accurately read a tape measure. Experience using industrial power and manual tools.
