Description

MAIN FUNCTION: Under the general supervision of a Cardiologist, and according to previously defined procedures, operates an echocardiogram machine to record cardiac functions. In addition, performs transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms when needed. Performs stress echocardiography assessment when needed.

EDUCATION: Certification or A.S. degree from accredited institution, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI is required. CPR required..

EXPERIENCE: Twelve (12) months of full-time clinical cardiac ultrasound experience.
