Description
Job Title: INSPECTOR 2
Pay: $25 - $27 an hour plus shift differential for weekends
Hours: 2nd Shift 3:20pm-1:50am
Location: 3817 Smith Ave Everett WA 98201
- Candidates for this position must be available to train on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks prior to starting weekend shift. Training hours on 1st shift would be 5:00am-1:30pm with some flexibility.

Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, an inspector grade 2 shall be able to perform any and all types of minor inspections using any equipment, caliper, micrometer, pin gages, etc., necessary to perform those inspections. The inspector grade 2 shall be able to work with minimal supervision while accomplishing all required inspections. The inspector grade 2 must be able to work with an inspector grade 3 on more complex parts, when necessary.
Requirements

Layout and inspect minor parts when given the part, the part drawing and the necessary inspection equipment.

V erify most processes when given the process certification, the parts/product, the process specification and the necessary equipment.

Complete necessary inspection documentation. (For example, but not limited to, First Article Inspection Reports, Acceptance Sampling Reports, Rejection Tags, Manufacturing Work Orders.)

Enter necessary inspection documentation information into dedicated computer system when required during normal inspection functions .

Must be able to use all inspection equipment necessary be perform the essential functions listed above. (I.e., height gage, sine plate, indicators, etc.)

Must be able to read and interpret part drawings to the extent necessary to perform inspections noted above.

Must be able to read and interpret process specifications to the extent necessary to perform the inspections noted above.

Must have demonstrated understanding of the requirements and interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to be able to perform the inspections noted above. Satisfactory demonstrated ability to find interpretations with the assistance of the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standard, ANSI/AMSE Y14.5.
