Full job description

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Test Engineer to lead testing strategy and execution for major PMIS releases, rating changes, system integrations, and cross-functional initiatives. This person will own end-to-end quality efforts, build scalable automation, and ensure complex rating logic and downstream system impacts are thoroughly validated.

Skills and Requirements

Typically 8+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or test automation, including experience operating at a Staff, Lead, or equivalent technical level. Demonstrated ownership of QA strategy and automation for large, integrated enterprise systems. Experience testing rules-driven, data-intensive, transactional, or financial systems where accuracy and traceability are critical. Proven ability to lead testing across multiple teams and dependencies without relying on formal people-management authority. Experience communicating quality risks, release readiness, defects, and tradeoffs to both technical and business audiences. Track record of improving automation coverage, test effectiveness, execution speed, diagnostics, or defect prevention. Property and casualty insurance, policy administration, rating, quoting, billing, claims, or related insurance technology experience. Experience with Duck Creek, Excel-based or external rater systems, rating engines, policy platforms, or comparable insurance applications. Experience validating rating-factor tables, rate changes, effective-dated configurations, and premium or output trends across controlled scenarios. Experience building comparison tools or automated evidence for source-to-target, rater-to-rater, table-to-table, or expected-versus-actual validation. Experience with cloud platforms, event-driven integrations, message-based systems, or enterprise middleware. Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to accelerate test design, automation, diagnostics, or coverage analysis.
