  • Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for collaboration and tech transfer
  • Collaborate with controls, electronics, software, vehicle performance, and race engineers to resolve technical issues.
  • Support trackside engineering activities by analyzing vehicle data, identifying issues, and recommending control-strategy improvements
  • Lead collaborative controls meetings between key stakeholders from Bosch and the Powertrain team
  • Create customer-facing documentation for track-side use
  • Lay out the plan for a resilient controls system architecture for future GT3 programs
  • Design and maintain CAN, Ethernet, wiring, and module-to-module communication architectures
  • Create pin schedules, wiring schematics, test-bench documentation, and system-integration plans
  • Apply Agile development practices, including Jira-based sprint planning, requirements tracking, and change management
  • Develop, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot vehicle-control software using CCA, MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
  • Validate control systems and firmware compatibility across SIL, HIL, sDIL, DIL, engine dynamometers, driveline dynamometers and track environments
  • Support and inform long-range vehicle development roadmaps, including technical updates and new component introduction.
  • Coordinate with key partners to develop vehicle performance plans for events
  • Travel to select races and tests as needed for integration and development
  • Model and reinforce GM Behaviors (Win with Integrity, Commit to Customers, Innovate and Embrace Change, Speak Fearlessly, Move with Urgency, Be Inclusive, Lead as One Team, Own the Outcome) in day-to-day work and team interactions

  • Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
  • Proficient with Bosch Motorsports tools and software
  • Experience with CAN-based vehicle networks and electronic control systems
  • Experience developing, testing, and building software
  • Experience integrating and validating software across laboratory, dynamometer, simulator, and track environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, data-analysis, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills
  • Collaborative and team focused approach to setting priorities and problem solving
  • Ability to support occasional travel, testing, and race events as required

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
