Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 601 E ROLLINS ST City: ORLANDO State: Florida Postal Code: 32803 Job Description:
- SHIFT: 40-hour, 3 shifts a week position with a mandatory bimonthly meeting
•
- The clinical donation associate responds on site to organ donation referrals within our service area (Brevard, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia counties).
•
- Responds promptly to all donor referrals and performs initial suitability screening.
- Rounds on all referrals and manages relationships with ICU physicians and nurses.
- Assists the Organ Procurement Coordinator and team leader with referral-related activities.
- Coordinates donation huddles to communicate donation action plans. Evaluates patients for organ and tissue donation suitability.
- Communicates donation plans to hospital and OPO staff.
