Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Arts and Crafts, Beale AFB, CA. This role is for Regular Part-Time employment, offering benefits and ensuring a minimum of 20 hours of work weekly, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours per week
Duties
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of computerized engravers, screen prints, operates embroidery machine, sublimation printer, and utilizes all other machines essential to the operation of the Arts and Crafts facility on Beale AFB. Takes special orders using rough sketches and/or written and oral instructions from customers. Produces artwork and design layouts appropriate for customer's needs. Transfers images to ordered product. Performs inventory and orders stock and expendable items. Customer service oriented position. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be able to read, write, spell, and speak English fluently, and figure basic math and measurements. Candidate should possess strong attention to detail.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
