Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a full-time Early CareerSoftware Engineer (Computing Systems) for their Infrastructure, Communications, & Network Engineering team tosupport multiple MIC2 Line of Business (LOB) programs. This role will involve a combination of softwaredevelopment and systems engineering using an Agile, Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps)approach.
Tasking can include:

Integration, test and requirement verification

Configuring networks/operating environments

Applying Cyber Security solutions

Scripting updates

Distributed messaging and troubleshooting

Streamlining engineering processes

Automation and forward leaning technologies

The candidate must be willing to work onsite in Mount Laurel, NJ and must be willing to travel to customer sitesas needed.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at afacility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, InformationTechnology, Information Systems, Computing & Informatics or relevant technical degree.

Experience with Software lifecycle development, various Programming Languages (C++, Java and/or Bash) andunit testing.

Experience with Linux (preferably RedHat) or experience with network device configuration.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at afacility that requires special access.
Desired Skills

Coursework in Networking, Operating Systems, Object Oriented Programming/Design, Software Development,Databases, Information Systems, Computer Architecture, Cybersecurity, Containerization, or similar technicalcourses.

Experience with Ansible or other automation tools.

Experience with containerization and virtualization (i.e. Kubernetes, Docker).

Relevant certifications per Job Description and Basic Qualifications list.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
Pay Information
- $61500.00 - $116455.00

For (Washington state applicants only) Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
