Full job description

Middle/High School Teacher

Setting: Healthcare Facilities

Job Type: Travel

Pay: $1850 / Week

Hours: 37.50

Location: Chattanooga, TN

The General Education Teacher (Grades 6–12) provides instructional services to students in middle and high school settings, supporting academic, social, and emotional development in alignment with district curriculum and state learning standards. The General Education Teacher creates an inclusive, engaging classroom environment, delivers standards-based instruction, assesses student progress, and collaborates with school staff and families to promote student success. Assignments may include core academic subjects or elective content areas depending on school needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited universitypreferred

  • Valid state teaching license required by state

  • Valid endorsement/certificate in assigned subject asrequired by state if applicable.

  • Minimum of one year experience in teaching environmentpreferred

  • Endorsement: Core academic subjects or elective contentareas, as required by state/district

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Ability to comply with student confidentiality (FERPA) andHIPAA requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
