Job Description

UPS Worldwide Forwarding, Inc. seeks Sr Software Development Engineer in Mahwah, NJ:

Job Duties: Provide input, support, and perform full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). Participate in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. Provide input to applications development project plans and integrations. Collaborate with teams and support emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. Provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. Provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in the job offered or related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Spring Boot; (3) REST Webservices; (4) MongoDB; (5) Analyze, improve and modify existing applications/web-based applications; (6) Participate in all the Phases of SDLC. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $137,717 - $191,700 per annum and standard company benefits
