LHM Employment Group is now hiring: Cold Storage Produce Repackers and Graders. - Warehouse is located off the corner of Jackson and Military rd in South Pharr (Las Milpas). {=html} - Shift runs: 9am- Production Completes (Mon-Sat) {=html} - Paid Weekly {=html} - Year-Round Production {=html} - Benefits offered after 90 days Key Responsibilities: - Repacking and Inspection: . Repackaging produce from damaged containers, inspecting items for quality, and sorting according to size, weight, and customer specifications. - Packaging and Labeling: Accurately labeling packages with product information, weight, and other necessary details, and ensuring proper sealing and packaging for safe transport. - Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment: Keeping the work area clean, sanitized, and organized, adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols, and following all safety procedures. - Following Instructions and Meeting Production Standards: Working efficiently and accurately to meet production targets and deadlines, following both written and verbal instructions, and communicating effectively with team members. - Inventory Management and Reporting: Participating in inventory management tasks, such as counting and recording items, and reporting any issues or malfunctions to supervisors. - Essential Skills: - **Physical Stamina:**Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50lbs, and perform repetitive tasks. - **Attention to Detail:**Accurate inspection of produce, precise labeling, and careful packaging. - **Communication Skills:**Effective communication with team members and supervisors. - **Ability to Follow Instructions:**Adhering to safety protocols, food safety standards, and specific packaging instructions. - **Basic Math Skills:**For measuring, counting, and recording inventory. - **Food Safety Awareness:**Understanding and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
