Maintenance Technician II Mechanical & Robotics

Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support the maintenance and reliability of automated production and material handling equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical, electrical, PLC, and robotics experience who enjoy troubleshooting and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment

• Diagnose issues with conveyor systems, motors, controls, and robotics

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards

What We're Looking For

Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment

2+ years of experience in:

• Industrial maintenance

• Mechanical or electrical trades

• PLC-controlled systems

Experience with:

• Conveyors and material handling equipment

• Pneumatic and hydraulic systems

• Motors, sensors, and controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotics operation and maintenance

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Continuous improvement mindset

• Willingness to learn and grow within a maintenance engineering team

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baton Rouge, LA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.
