As a Plow Supervisor, you'll oversee daily snow operations, support your crew in the field, ensure routes are completed according to contract specifications, and maintain constant communication with management throughout each storm. ## Key Responsibilities * Safely operate pickup trucks equipped with snow plows to remove snow from commercial properties. * Stack, relocate, and manage snow piles to maximize parking availability and maintain site safety. * Clear loading docks, parking lots, drive lanes, and designated areas according to customer specifications. * Apply de-icing materials when required. * Respond to snow dispatches within 30 minutes of being contacted, use dispatch app to notify crews, and follow up with team members who do not respond. * Work overnight, early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts during snow events. * Conduct pre-shift safety meetings and equipment inspections. * Ensure pickup trucks are fueled, maintained, and ready for operation before and after every storm. * Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance concerns promptly. * Accurately log completed services using a tablet. * Communicate with supervisors regarding property conditions, equipment issues, and completed work. * Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures. * Assist with other seasonal property maintenance duties as assigned.### ### Requirements * Must be at least 18 years of age * Valid New York State Driver's License (CDL preferred but not required) * Previous commercial snow plowing experience required * Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills * Ability to look over shoulder, twist, and turn body/neck repeatedly for long hours * Ability to safely operate snowplow equipment in severe winter conditions * Ability to work extended hours during snow events * Ability to lift 50 pounds. * Willingness to be on call to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. * Reliable transportation to report for work * Must be able to use a tablet for service documentation * Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
