Full job description

The Department of Drama within the College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a Part-Time Instructor to teach DRA 127 Core Intensives: Dance Wellness & Conditioning for the Performing Artist, a three-credit hour course, during the Spring semester, 2027.

Dance Wellness & Conditioning introduces musical theatre students to practical strategies for maintaining a healthy, resilient, and performance-ready body. Through movement-based study, students explore functional anatomy, injury prevention, dance-specific strength and conditioning, Pilates, mobility, recovery, nutrition, and sustainable training practices. Emphasis is placed on applying these principles to dance classes, rehearsals, auditions, and professional performance.
