About the Role:

As a CBRE Material Handling Maintenance Manager, you will manage a teamresponsible for the maintenance and repair of material handling equipment. Youwill ensure the efficient and effective operation of all material handlingsystems to support the overall productivity and safety of the facility.

What You’ll Do:

  • Apply knowledge of material handling maintenance and how it integrateswith other disciplines to achieve team and departmental objectives.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complexissues in material handling systems and processes.

  • Coordinate and supervise the team's daily activities, ensuring tasksare completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Lead the team to impact the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness ofthe job discipline and department.

  • Exchange and explain difficult information, convey performanceexpectations, and handle sensitive issues with team members and stakeholders.

  • Influence parties of shared interests to reach agreements and ensuresmooth operations.

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensureoptimal performance of material handling equipment.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of material handling systems,making recommendations for improvements as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in allmaintenance activities.

  • Manage the procurement and inventory of spare parts and maintenancesupplies.

  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members toenhance their skills and knowledge.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience inmaterial handling maintenance or a related field. In lieu of a degree, acombination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Proven experience in coordinating and supervising maintenance teams,with a focus on material handling systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify,troubleshoot, and resolve moderately complex issues.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to exchange andexplain difficult information and handle sensitive issues.

  • Leadership skills to motivate the team and achieve broad operationaltargets with impacts on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • In-depth knowledge of material handling equipment and maintenance bestpractices.

  • Strong organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.

  • Ability to influence and negotiate with parties of shared interests toreach agreements. Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations andcompany policies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, andOutlook.
