This temporary position will not exceed six months and reports directly to security operations leadership.
Responsibilities

- Identify inefficiencies, incomplete processes, inconsistent execution, and gaps in ownership or controls.
- Prioritize improvement opportunities with leadership and initiate corrective actions with accountable owners and completion dates.
- Ensure new processes are fully closed out, including completed documentation, training, operational validation, resolution of open issues, and acceptance by the ongoing process owner.
- Create and maintain standard work documents, process maps, checklists, and supporting tools that can be adopted across multiple sites.
- Establish a consistent documentation structure and processes for version control and review.
- Partner with implementation teams to translate approved improvements into executable rollout plans.
- Verify improvements in the field and adjust processes based on operator feedback and observed results.
- Provide weekly updates on improvement activities, closure status, results, and unresolved barriers.
- Deliver a prioritized process improvement register that identifies owners, milestones, and the status of each action.
- Deliver a defined process closure checklist with acceptance criteria.
- Deliver a scalable library of approved standard work documents.
- Deliver documented evidence of completed improvements and an ongoing ownership plan.
- Complete an organized handoff of approved documentation, open actions, performance measures, and ongoing ownership before the temporary assignment ends.
Skills and Requirements
- Demonstrated experience improving operational processes in security, data centers, critical infrastructure, or another complex operating environment.
- Ability to map workflows, identify root causes, and turn findings into practical corrective actions.
- Strong technical writing, stakeholder coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work directly with frontline personnel and validate execution onsite.
- Ability to build practical processes, work onsite daily, collaborate across teams, and communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly.
- Experience supporting data centers, critical infrastructure, or similarly complex operating environments.
- Experience standardizing operational procedures across multiple locations.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and applying structured process improvement methodologies.
- Experience developing scalable standard work, process maps, checklists, and operational documentation.
