Accounting Manager

Description

Daytona Beach company is looking for an Accounting Manager. Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager will include, but not limited to the following.

• Direct core accounting operations, including general ledger activity, journal entry review, accounts payable oversight, and account reconciliations.

• Lead and support a small accounting team, providing guidance, accountability, and day-to-day supervision.

• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with a high degree of accuracy and in alignment with applicable accounting standards.

• Month end close activities including reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Monitor month-end closing activities to help maintain timely reporting and reliable financial data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience.

• Analytical problem solving skills.

• Collaboration/Teamwork – build relationships across departments
