This job was posted by https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov : For more information, please see: https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov/jobs/13769344 ## Essential Functions - Under administrative direction, serves as an Application Architecture & Platform Engineering Lead for the Department of Innovations & Technology (DoIT) supporting the Illinois State Police (ISP) performing complex professional and advisory functions in Software Architecture & Development Standards. - Provides DevOps and Azure Platform support by managing Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories and using elevated access to configure and maintain key Azure resources such as App Services, Domain Name System (DNS), managed identities, and databases. - Provides architectural guidance and technology recommendations by researching emerging solutions and collaborating with stakeholders to align technical approaches with business needs. - Serves as team leader on highly complex projects while independently planning, developing, and implementing techniques for gathering and interpreting data. - Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures. - Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. ## Minimum Qualifications - Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields. - Requires three (3) years of professional experience in Application Services or a related Information Technology field.
