Full job description

Excel at Woodbury, located in Nassau County, has an opportunity for a Full-Time Rehab Tech. Duties: Perform all floor ambulation for all residents as prescribed by the rehab department/MD Perform AAROM/PROM for all residents as indicated Perform cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces and equipment being used as part of the functional maintenance program Transfer residents in/out of the wheelchair as part of a functional maintenance program Ensure splints/braces are applied/removed by nursing staff as per MD order and in accordance with wearing schedule Report any inconsistencies, functional changes, skin integrity issues (if noted) of a resident to the nursing manager and/or rehab director as needed. Document all FAP distance, level of assistance (in nursing terms) daily in EMR Perform group wellness exercises with residents on the units ( if applicable) as directed by Rehab therapy staff Other duties as assigned by Rehab director Job Type: Full-time Shift available: M-F Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Pay: $18/hr
