Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Compliance Business Partner, Product for a top global payments client. This senior individual contributor will sit at the intersection of Product and Compliance, helping build regulatory requirements directly into customer-facing cross-border payment products. The consultant will partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate AML/KYC/KYB and multi-jurisdictional payments regulations into actionable product requirements, PRDs, backlog items, acceptance criteria, and launch controls. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines deep payments compliance expertise with a true product mindset and can influence roadmaps, identify regulatory risk early, and ensure compliance is built into products from initial design through launch. Serve as an embedded Compliance partner to Product, connecting regulatory requirements with the product-development lifecycle. Translate AML/KYC/KYB, payments, and other regulatory obligations into PRDs, product constraints, backlog items, requirements, and acceptance criteria. Participate in roadmap reviews and sprint planning to identify compliance implications before development and launch. Review PRDs and provide actionable compliance requirements before specifications are finalized. Own the compliance component of product launch readiness and drive required governance processes before launches or material product changes. Assess upcoming regulatory changes and determine their impact on customer-facing products. Identify and escalate regulatory/product risks with clear thresholds, decisions, owners, and mitigation plans. Maintain compliance requirements and open-issue tracking across supported product areas. Increase regulatory literacy across Product teams through working sessions, documentation, and reusable guidance.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of compliance experience within regulated financial services, fintech, or payments. True Product Manager, Product Owner, or embedded product/compliance experience, with a strong understanding of sprints, backlogs, PRDs, and acceptance criteria. Demonstrated experience translating regulatory/legal requirements into actionable software product requirements that Product and Engineering teams can build. Strong AML and KYC/KYB knowledge and experience applying those requirements to customer-facing products. Experience with payments/fintech, ideally cross-border payments and/or FX. Working knowledge of cross-border payment regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Ability to partner directly with Product and Engineering through roadmap planning, sprint planning, product design, and launches. Strong risk judgment with the ability to identify, clearly articulate, and appropriately escalate compliance risks. Highly autonomous, direct communicator who can make regulatory constraints and required actions clear to technical and product stakeholders Direct experience with B2B cross-border payment flows, particularly enterprise or SME payments. Experience at a licensed payments company operating across multiple jurisdictions. FX product experience. Exposure to regulatory change programs and assessing the product impact of changing regulations. Understanding of broader financial-crime regulations, including global sanctions. Experience attending product sprint ceremonies and directly influencing backlog decisions
