Stockroom Student Associate: A-Chem, P-Chem, O-Chem, Gen Chem/InorganicPrepare teaching lab spaces by restocking solutions, reagents, equipment, and consumablesPrepare stock solutions, reagents, supplies, and equipment for student useMonitor compliance with safety standards by students, TAs, faculty, and staffProvide first line customer service to lab students interacting with the stockroomInstrumentation Student AssociatePrepare instruments before lab sessions, ensuring proper setupPerform routine startup and shutdown procedures on analytical equipment following the Instrument Check Instructions (e.g., spectrophotometers, chromatographs)Carry out basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under supervisionReport equipment issues and coordinate with staff for service needsKeep lab environments clean and organized.Weekly gas cylinders gauge reading and replacement if necessaryUpdate the computer system regularly and perform backup testing of dataStockroom duties as assignedFollow all safety protocols and proper lab practicesDemos Student AssociateAssist with the preparation, delivery, and clean-up procedures for classroom demonstrations.Prepare teaching lab spaces by restocking solutions, reagents, equipment, and consumablesPrepare stock solutions, reagents, supplies, and equipment for student useMonitor compliance with safety standards by students, TAs, faculty, and staffProvide first line customer service to lab students interacting with the stockroom
