Summary

TFC Summer Internship Experience: May 24th to July 30th

Are you a student with an interest in freight and warehouse operations, inventory management and show-site execution? Join Freeman for a 10-week summer internship experience designed to give students hands-on exposure to the live events industry. Interns contribute to real work, learn alongside industry professionals, build their network, and participate in development opportunities throughout the summer. As an Event & Exhibit Services (E&ES) intern, you'll experience the operational side of bringing live events to life when you'll learn how people, equipment, and materials come together to deliver experiences for our customers.

This position will support Event and Exhibit Services teams. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of:

  • Chicago, IL

  • Dallas, TX

  • Las Vegas, NV

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

A Day in the Life in E&ES

  • Work across office, warehouse, and show-site environments

  • Support warehouse organization, inventory, freight, and equipment operations

  • Assist with program scheduling, on-site documentation, and project tracking throughout an event

  • Gain exposure to budgeting, vendor coordination, and client communications

  • See firsthand how event concepts become operational realities

Education & Experience

What We're Looking For

We're looking for students who are curious about how things work, enjoy hands-on environments, and want to build a career supporting live events and operations. Ideal candidates are:

  • Completing their college degree or program between December 2027 and May 2029

  • Open to all majors, but preferred studies in Theatre/Theatre Technology, Logistics & Supply Chain, Construction, skilled trades, or technical programs.

  • Interested in freight, warehouse, equipment, logistics, or event operations

  • Comfortable learning in warehouse and show-site environments

  • Strong collaborators who bring problem-solving, adaptability, dependability, and a willingness to learn

  • Interested in seeing how planning and logistics translate into real-world execution
