Job Title: Warehouse Administrator
Job Description
The Warehouse Administrator supports daily warehouse operations by managing inbound deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. This role combines hands-on work in a large warehouse environment with administrative responsibilities such as data entry, spreadsheet updates, and coordination with operational support and inventory control teams. The position is currently labeled as a warehouse associate and involves operating multiple types of forklift equipment while using a warehouse management system (WMS) in SAP to track and manage inventory and shipments.
Responsibilities

Receive inbound deliveries and ensure all incoming shipments are accurately documented and processed.

Research open purchase orders to identify status, resolve discrepancies, and support timely order completion.

Help close out shipments when production runs are completed, ensuring all documentation and system records are updated.

Update spreadsheets and other tracking tools as needed to reflect current inventory, shipments, and purchase order information.

Coordinate daily activities with operations support and inventory control teams to maintain accurate stock levels and efficient workflow.

Create replenishments as needed to fulfill customer orders and maintain appropriate inventory in designated bins and locations.

Perform regular bin checks to verify inventory accuracy and resolve any variances identified in the WMS or physical counts.

Operate all required forklift equipment, including high reach, stand-up, and turret trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.

Use SAP warehouse management system to manage inventory, track shipments, and support purchase order and replenishment processes.

Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.

Support shipping and receiving functions, including preparing documentation and coordinating with internal teams as needed.

Provide courteous and professional customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners when addressing inventory or order-related inquiries.

Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
Essential Skills

Experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse or distribution environment.

Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Hands-on experience with inventory processes, including bin checks and replenishments.

Ability to operate forklift equipment, including high reach, stand-up, and turret trucks.

Previous experience using SAP or a similar warehouse management system, with a preference for SAP-specific knowledge.

Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills.

Experience with purchase ordering processes and related documentation.

Ability to coordinate effectively with operations support, inventory control, and other internal teams.
Shift
Training hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a potential shift to 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. once training is complete.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
