Our client, global supplier of advanced materials, specialty chemicals, and process solutions used in the semiconductor (chip manufacturing) industry. is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you will be part of the Analytics & Metrology team supporting laboratory quality and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a zero-defect mindset, strong root cause problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement using data and structured quality tools, which will align successfully in the organization.

Salary: $85,500-$119,500 (flexible) + 10% Bonus

What's the Job?

Lead laboratory quality and compliance efforts by overseeing data integrity, audits, training, risk assessments, method validation, and quality systems to ensure reliable analytical testing.

Investigate and solve quality issues by leading root cause analyses, managing deviations and contamination events, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future problems.

Drive continuous improvement across lab operations using data, statistical tools, and cross-functional collaboration to improve testing processes, reduce variability, increase efficiency, and strengthen the overall quality culture.

Provide analytical testing stability and improvement through statistical process control (SPC/SQC), trend analysis, and other quality methods that support accuracy and data stability.

Serve as a lab-focused SME for quality concepts and structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, RCA, FMEA), including training and expert guidance for critical excursions.
What's Needed?

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of analytical laboratory experience with quality assurance in an analytical lab setting.

Working knowledge of ISO 17025 or equivalent lab quality systems, including experience maintaining and improving quality systems.

Experience with analytical method validation and investigations, including deviations, OOS/OOT, and contamination events.

Hands-on familiarity with quality tools such as Pareto, FMEA, SPC/SQC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, design of experiments, cause-and-effect diagrams, and structured problem-solving methodologies (8D/RCA).
