Full job description

The Research Safety Technician position supports a variety of technical operations and services for the Environmental Health and Safety department. Key duties of the position include receiving and delivering chemical packages, maintaining the laboratory chemical inventory system, and hazardous materials shipping. The position also conducts safety equipment inspections, assists in preparing, distributing and communicating safety information, maintains department response and monitoring instruments and equipment, and performs activities to support multiple safety programs administered by the department.
