Supply Chain Transportation Intern - Summer 2027

Our 10-week summer internship program will be in person in Atlanta and run from May 24 – July 30, 2027.

As a Transportation Solutions Intern, you will work with resources across multiple departments to identify opportunity requirements, capture data and provide counter measures with recommended solutions to increase performance or reduce variation inside an operational process.

Our internship program is designed as a cohort experience, bringing interns from across the organization together to learn, grow, and build connections throughout the summer. While gaining hands-on experience within your team, you'll also be part of a community of fellow interns sharing the journey alongside you.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Google Big Query and other Google Cloud Products to harvest data

• Correlate the data with the real world by visiting nearby Distribution Centers (DC’s) and stores

• Optimize the process by applying your course studies as well as mentoring by business owners

• Control the new process by creating key performance indicators (KPI’s)

• Visualize the results by building dashboards in Power BI

Qualifications

• Currently a rising junior or senior pursing an undergraduate degree in industrial, mechanical, electronic, or other related engineering field required.

• Basic skills with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required.

• Strong analytical aptitude

Preferred Qualifications

• 3.25 GPA or above preferred.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

• Expected to operate in a professional office environment.

• The 2027 program will run from May 24 – July 20, 2027

• The work week is 40 hours.

• Working hours are M-F 8:00AM – 5:00PM with a 1-hour lunch break.
