Description

Key Responsibilities Support the design and layout of electrical systems and infrastructure projects under the guidance of senior engineering and design leaders. Develop 2D CAD drawings and design documents in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards. Assist with 3D modeling and layout development for electrical systems of moderate complexity. Review engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. Identify and help resolve design discrepancies by coordinating with cross-functional engineering and design teams. Perform material take-offs, quantity calculations, and project documentation support. Apply industry codes, standards, and company design practices throughout all phases of project execution. Support project teams by maintaining accurate design records, drawings, and technical documentation. Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality project solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and other project-related responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field preferred. Experience using AutoCAD and/or other CAD design software. Familiarity with 2D drafting and 3D modeling principles. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and vendor documentation. Knowledge of electrical design practices, construction methods, and applicable industry standards. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Valid drivers license. - Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English. - Must be willing and open to overnight travel for various projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $57.69/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
