V-22 Quality Assurance Representative -Japan
Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to support V-22 modification efforts at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. This is a Long-Term Assignment to MCAS Futenma Okinawa, Japan for a minimum of 3.5 years. Relocation/assignment benefits to this international location will be provided. Ability to meet Int'l assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet Int'l assignment health requirements. The individual will work closely with the V-22 Global Technical Operations Leadership to support the planning, execution and delivery of Quality products and services. This position will be100% on-site at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develops and motivates a team of diverse skills, capability, and experience to maximize individual and team performance.
- Performs inspections on aircraft for modification activities on the V-22 platform
- Maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures
- Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems
- Performs internal audits to determine compliance with Quality Management System standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements
- Documents audit results in standard formats
- Works under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance/modification
-
3+ years of V-22 aircraft experience
-
3+ years of Quality Assurance Inspector experience (CDI, CDQAR, QAR, 7-level)

Experience in interpreting and utilizing aircraft technical data

Willing to work variable shifts (shift 1, 2, or 3)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in USN/USMC aviation maintenance/modification programs
- DCMA INST 8210.1 experience
- AS9100 Revision D experience
- Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
Ex-Pat Information:
- Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country
- Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
- Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
- Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.
Relocation: Relocation benefits will be provided only to the international assignment.

Summary Pay Range: $83,300-$128,800/Annually

Export Control Requirement: This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. Safety Sensitive: This is not a Safety Sensitive Position.
Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
