AI Application Developer

Job Description

The AI Application Developer contributes as a technical team member to the planning, design, development, implementation, and support of moderately complex AI-enabled applications and systems. This role delivers production-ready Generative AI capabilities, supports reliable software lifecycle execution, and collaborates across development and dependent teams to meet business requirements and service objectives. Compensation: $69/hr to $74/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

• Production delivery of Generative AI / LLM solutions

• Experience with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), OCR, and Responsible AI concepts

• Strong Python development experience

• Experience with LLM application frameworks such as LangChain or equivalent

• Experience with cloud ML platforms and services, including GCP and/or AWS

• Experience supporting CI/CD model and data pipelines

• Experience working within Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban

• Experience with Gen AI frameworks and services such as OpenAI and Vertex AI Experience with Python Django

• Experience developing and enhancing applications that integrate with Large Language Models and Generative AI services

• Experience creating system specifications, prototypes, code, and technical documentation

• Ability to translate user requirements into technical deliverables

• Experience estimating work effort and identifying solution impacts and alternatives

• Experience monitoring, analyzing, and resolving development issues throughout the software lifecycle

• Experience coordinating with development teams and dependent teams to prioritize software needs Experience preparing activity and progress reporting within Agile delivery environments
