What the day will look like

As part of the Transaction Solutions team, you will advise clients and broker Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) insurance solutions for complex M&A transactions. Combining legal analysis, commercial judgment and client advisory, you will work closely with Korean and international clients, insurers, legal advisors, and Aon colleagues across APAC.Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing legal due diligence reports, virtual data room materials, and identified risks to evaluate their implications for W&I insurance coverage.

• Analyzing and interpreting M&A transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, to support policy structuring and negotiations with insurers.

• Leading the placement process by preparing insurer submissions, obtaining coverage indications and quotations, and coordinating the execution of W&I insurance policies.

• Managing communication and technical negotiations with regional insurers, including stakeholders based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, and other Asia-Pacific markets.

• Building trusted relationships with private equity firms, corporate clients, legal advisors, and other transaction stakeholders while contributing to the continued growth of Aon’s Transaction Solutions business in Korea.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• 3-5 years' PQE at a law firm, with experience advising on M&A and corporate transactions

• M&A legal due diligence experience

• Professional fluency in English and Korean

• Strong commercial judgment and ability to work in a transaction-driven environment

• Licensed to practice law (jurisdiction agnostic)
