Full job description
Various positions needed: Production Associate Machine Operator Forklift Operator Equipment Operator Millwright Lumber Grader Key Responsibilities - Support production line operations, including assembling, staging, or moving materials as needed - Move lumber between conveyors, machines, and work areas to maintain steady production flow - Operate basic tools, equipment, or machinery as trained - Perform visual quality checks and report issues to supervisors - Follow detailed instructions, safety procedures, and operational guidelines - Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area - Load, unload, and transport logs and lumber within the sawmill. {=html} - Sort and stack materials according to size, type, and processing requirements. {=html} - Operate forklifts, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment. {=html} - Assist in maintaining inventory and tracking material flow. {=html} - Ensure proper handling and storage of raw and processed lumber. {=html} - Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. {=html} - Report any equipment malfunctions or material shortages to supervisors. {=html} - Work collaboratively with sawmill operators and production teams to maintain efficiency {=html} - Perform other duties as assigned. Work Environment - On-site sawmill environment with continuous production activity - Standing and moving throughout the shift, often for extended periods - Physically demanding work, including frequent lifting and material handling - Exposure to noise and industrial conditions; appropriate PPE is required - Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with production targets Key Qualifications - Ability to perform physical work in an industrial production environment - Comfortable standing, lifting, and handling materials throughout a full shift - Reliable transportation to and from TLM's mill - Consistent attendance and punctuality to support production operations - Ability to follow instructions, safety rules, and work collaboratively as part of a team - Ability to pass a background check
