  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and experience with a framework such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.

  • Proven experience designing, building, and operating backend services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs in production using a server-side language such as Java, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js), etc.

  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

  • Experience building responsive, cross-browser, accessible (WCAG) web UIs.

  • Proven experience optimizing performance across the stack, using techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, caching, query optimization, etc.

  • Experience writing automated tests with frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, etc., and shipping through CI/CD pipelines.

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with client-side state and data-fetching libraries such as Redux, Zustand, TanStack Query, etc., in complex applications.

  • Experience with server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js, Nuxt, etc.

  • Experience with cloud platforms and containers such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

  • Experience building design systems or component libraries with designers, using tools such as Figma, Storybook, Chromatic, etc.

  • Experience with real-time technologies such as WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, streaming APIs, etc.
