The Role

Every load we haul has a rate behind it. When that rate is right and entered on time, customers are billed correctly and drivers are paid on time. As Rate Coordinator II for United Petroleum Transports and Florida Rock & Tank Lines, you're the reason that happens.

You'll be the go-to contact when a rate question comes up, and customers and teams across the company will count on your quick, clear answers. You'll join a small, growing team where getting it right matters more than getting it fast, and accurate work gets noticed.

  • Process rate requests and updates as they come in.

  • Keep customer rates current and accurate.

  • Work with Billing and Payroll to resolve issues that affect invoices and driver pay.

Documentation and Cross-Training

  • Help document rate procedures and recommend improvements.

  • Learn teammates' rate work so the team stays covered when someone is out.

Who Thrives Here

  • You check your work before it goes out.

  • You sort out what needs to happen first and stay focused when several requests come in at once.

  • You base decisions on facts.

  • You take time to think a problem through before you act.

  • You communicate clearly and concisely.

  • You work well on your own and know when to bring someone in.

  • You're comfortable working through a rate issue with someone in another department.

  • You take feedback on your work and use it.

  • You enjoy learning the details and building expertise over time.

  • Most rate issues are resolved without escalation.

  • Customers and internal teams get clear answers they can act on.

  • Feedback from customers, terminals, and other departments is consistently positive.
