This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13672585 ## Summary The Activity Assistant / Coordinator supports the Life Enrichment or Activities program by assisting with group and individual activities designed to enhance residents physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being. This role works collaboratively with the care team to ensure activities are meaningful, inclusive, and person-centered. ## This role may also be known as: Activity Assistant, Activities Coordinator, Life Enrichment Assistant, or Recreation Aide. ## What Youll Do - Assist in planning, organizing, facilitating, and directing recreational activity programs - Support resident engagement through group and one-on-one activities - Adapt activities to meet individual resident abilities, interests, and care plans - Encourage resident participation and social interaction - Assist with special events, celebrations, and community outings - Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members - Maintain documentation related to resident participation as required - Uphold Americares Mission, Vision, Hometown Hospitality, and F.A.M.I.L.Y. values - Follow all facility, state, and federal guidelines related to resident engagement
