Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator / Traffic Manager to oversee creative operations, streamline project workflows, and manage production schedules across our marketing and communications initiatives. In this role, you will act as the operational backbone of our creative pipeline—managing intake, establishing operating rhythms, and ensuring seamless collaboration across internal stakeholders and external partners.
This is a 3-month, 40-hour per week remote contract, with an initial mandatory 1-week onsite onboarding/training period in Linthicum, Maryland.
Key Responsibilities

Creative Operations & Traffic Management: Oversee end-to-end intake, triage, prioritization, and scheduling for all incoming marketing and communications creative requests.

Vendor & Agency Management: Manage relationships with external creative agencies, freelancers, and production vendors—including scoping deliverables, monitoring budgets, and enforcing quality control standards.

Process & Workflow Optimization: Leverage project management tools to build, refine, and maintain efficient operating rhythms and traffic workflows.

Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between creative teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and external partners to maintain project timelines and alignment.

Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in production management, creative operations, project management, or traffic management within an agency, in-house marketing department, or communications team.

Intake & Prioritization: Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder intake and resource allocation in fast-paced environments.

Vendor Operations: Hands-on experience managing external creative agencies and production vendors (scoping, budgeting, QC).

Tool & Workflow Mastery: Advanced proficiency with modern project management and creative workflow platforms (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Monday.com, Jira, or similar). Experience setting up new operational workflows is highly desirable.

Onsite Training Requirement: Ability to travel and work onsite in Linthicum, MD for the first full week of contract onboarding.
