Scott Electric has a current opening at our Greensburg, PA branch for a Full-Time Warehouse Wire Associate (Mon-Fri 4:00PM - 12:00AM). Position Summary The Warehouse Wire Associate is responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, labeling, and preparing electrical wire and cable products to meet customer specifications. This role ensures timely order fulfillment, maintains inventory accuracy, and upholds safety and quality standards within a fast-paced electrical wholesale distribution warehouse. Responsibilities: 1. Measure, cut, and spool electrical wire and cable according to customer order specifications 2. Operate wire cutting machines and related warehouse equipment safely and efficiently 3. Verify product type, gauge, length, and labeling accuracy before order completion 4. Accurately record wire cuts and material usage in the inventory management system 5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wire cutting area 6. Inspect wire and cable for defects or damage prior to cutting and shipment 7. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse procedures 8. Assist with cycle counts and inventory control as needed 9. Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment 3. Strong attention to detail 4. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, measurements) 5. Ability to read and interpret order tickets and product specifications 6. Attention to detail and strong accuracy skills 7. Ability to operate wire cutting machinery (training provided if necessary) 8. Ability to stand for extended periods 9. Strong teamwork and communication skills 10. Warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures 11. Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion 12. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required 13. Maintain high accuracy in wire measurements and order fulfillment 14. Meet daily productivity standards 15. Maintain a safe and organized workspace 16. Contribute positively to team efficiency and customer satisfaction Preferred: 1. Previous warehouse experience 2. Experience in electrical distribution or familiarity with wire and cable products Must submit a background check and drug testing.
