Full job description

Your future role at a glance

  • Location: Glendale, WI

  • Facility: AW Glendale Corporate Office

  • Department: Labor Management

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday | Onsite greater than 50% of the workweek | Must be willing to travel to Baltimore, Maryland and other States on a regular basis

  • Eligible for an annual bonus incentive

How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Provides enterprise leadership for advancing scheduling strategy, standards, and performance across Ascension.

  • Responsible for overseeing the implementation and sustainment of scheduling best practices, and partnering with operational and clinical leaders to ensure alignment with staffing targets, labor budgets, and patient care needs.

  • Leads initiatives that strengthen schedule integrity, reduce premium labor, and promote equitable and transparent scheduling processes.

  • Provides oversight of scheduling governance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to advance Scheduling Excellence across ministries.

  • Responsible for working with market schedulers to improve schedule quality, timeliness, accuracy, and completeness and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met in these areas.

  • This is a Wisconsin-based role that requires significant travel to Maryland, Illinois, and other markets as needed. The resource is not required to reside in each supported market and will travel extensively to provide support across the assigned markets.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences:

  • Must reside in WI.

  • Travel to MD is required.

  • Healthcare industry background is strongly preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in scheduling operations, workforce management, or staff coordination is required.

  • Experience with an enterprise scheduling platform (such as UKG) is preferred.
