Material Controller

Description

Leidos is seeking a Material Controller based out of Huntsville AL .

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to support project logistics.

• Receive materials and process goods receipts to maintain full material traceability and compliance with corporate and customer requirements.

• Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant receiving and stockroom environment to support operational efficiency.

• Participate in material packaging and shipments through UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers, preparing compliant documentation and shipping labels.

• Assemble kits utilizing Costpoint generated pick lists. Assemblies range from PCBs, cables, to electronic test instruments.

• Contribute to inventory reconciliation events to maintain accuracy and traceability of inventory.

• Perform logistics support for the team as requested to ensure timely delivery of packages.

• undefinedBasic QualificationsU.S citizenshipHigh School Diploma and 1-5 years related work experience, to include experience with inventory database software and shipping/receiving.Solid computer skills with experience performing online database entry, update, and lookup activities.Ability to operate related office equipment and personal computer software packages to include Microsoft Office and Costpoint.Possess strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.Ability to balance multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.Work well with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.High level of attention to detail and organization.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Costpoint or other ERP systems.Forklift certification or ability to obtain.Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $35,750.00 - $64,625.00
