Job Description A Registered Nurse (RN) in a Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) is a highly specialized healthcare professional responsible for providing critical care to patients who have undergone cardiac surgery, closely monitoring their vital signs, administering medications, managing complex medical equipment, and responding rapidly to life-threatening situations, all while collaborating with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. RN CSICU (Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit) We are seeking a dynamic RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner

What will you will do in this role:

  • Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality

  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions

  • Provide high focus care with a commitment to continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Looking for candidates that have 1+years of Acute Care RN experience. (Does not necessarily need to be in the ICU but they need a good Acute Care Background)

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required

  • BLS required

  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire

  • BSN is preferred

  • CCRN a plus but must be obtained within 2 years. NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days.
