\n Key Responsibilities \n

\n This position will function as a secondary team lead and will be responsible for multiple machine rooms for all operational mission critical systems to include lab and communications rooms. \n

\n \n </div>\n

\n \n

You will need to maintain all spaces to customer standards, maintain access lists for scan access. \n

\n </li>\n

Monitor and enforce customer requirements for Power Space and Cooling in the rooms. \n

\n </li>\n

Work with Facilities personnel from time to time to stay ahead of the need for PSC upgrades to support newer hardware and customer needs. \n

\n </li>\n

Assist customers with physical installation and decommissioning of racks of servers, network devices, and comms gear. \n

\n </li>\n

Work JIRA tickets from SA/NE teams for hardware replacements – warrantied backfill or escorting vendor support techs into the rooms to work on hardware that is under warranty. \n

\n </li>\n

Working through any issues presented as well as checking monitoring of machine rooms and walking the floor looking for any alerts or issues.\n

Experience in supporting a customer machine room. \n

Experience in racking and cabling systems for operational deployments. \n

\n </li>\n

Strong communication skills, ability to work with small team, customers, leadership, facilities, and Vendors to identify and resolve issues. \n

\n </li>\n

Experience with creating and updating machine room drawings in Viso or similar tool. \n

\n </li>\n

Experience with hands-on support for various hardware from key vendors like HP, Dell, Cisco Arista, Juniper etc. \n

\n </li>\n

Experience supporting fiber (looking for breaks testing) \n

\n </li>\n </ul>\n

Desired Skills \n

Experience managing/ leading a team in supporting an agency Machine/ Comms room. \n

Experience on a System build/deployment team \n

A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note\x26nbsp; 2) from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience \n

A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general system engineering experience (any\x26nbsp; Process Area). \n

A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2)\x26nbsp; from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience \n
